I'm quite happy gaming on the PC instead.Ĭlick to expand.Direct drive wheels are not really an option for me at the moment, plus I have a G27 which simply refuses to break and I'm determined to get my moneys worth out of it. This current gen of consoles (PS4/Xbone) have so far been rather disappointing for me. Surely Thrustmaster should have ironed out the quality/reliability issues by now? I can't understand how on earth they are getting so many failures, even now, wheels are being RMA'd. So as far as I'm concerned, Logitech didn't handle the situation very well and they could have been much more open and honest. yes there was a non-disclosure agreement in the mix somewhere, but nobody actually knows what that was all about. The way in which Logitech conducted themselves was very poor and they certainly didn't look after their customers. Personally speaking, I'm still not touching Logitech products for the foreseeable future. OK, so the technology might be 'old hat' now, but it still works just fine. Whatever the reason, it's a good price for the consumer and I can see why it would be tempting for people ( There is no denying that Logitech have a great history of making reliable gaming wheels, the G25/27 took some abuse and they still are doing. I do wonder whether sales have been rather slow for them, therefore they're chucking them out at cheap prices to clear the stock levels a bit. To be fair, I think that the UK are only seeing the G29 considerably cheaper thanks to Currys/PCworld (same company) sales. And the Fanatec is just way too far out of my price range to even be considured. I wouldn't touch a madcatz wheel, even if it was given to me for free. It is a once bitten twice shy situation for me with regards to Thrustmaster.

This was dead on arrival though, so ended up with a full refund.

Luckily Amazon, even after 6 months of ownership, sent out a replacement wheel themselves. The TX wheel broke within 6 months, Thrustmaster refused to fix or replace the wheel. Plus I only bought the G920 to use on the Xbox one with Forza, and any other racing game that may come along that takes my interest.Īnd before anyone asks, I didn't go with the TX wheel, as I had owned on prior to buying the G27. The software is better, more options, and just plain ease of use. Realistically however, I still use my G27 for the PC.

I can change things manually in the files for the wheel driver though. Seriously, I can change more options on my G502 gaming mouse than I can the G920 through the GUI. The only issue I have is the lack of options in the Logitech Gaming software.

I use my G920 on windows 10, and it works fine.
